New Patient Process
- Schedule your new patient appointment-Pay deposit to hold your spot if a specialty appointment
Fill out all new patient paperwork and return to the office via email or fax asap
Provide the office a copy of your driver’s licenses and any insurance cards front and back
Please include a medication list if you have one - Arrive to your appointment 15 minutes early
- When you arrive, Come in and check in. Or if you’d like to wait in the car, you may, just give us a call to let us know you’ve arrived
- When the clinical staff is ready, the dental assistant will come great you, show you your room and get any necessary x-rays. Typically, this includes two different images on the Panoramic machine and a CBCT/3D Imaging if you are coming to us for an airway exam.
- Don’t worry, our x-ray machine is an ultra-low dose
- You will then be taken to the patient room and we will have you wash your hands and rinse with an antimicrobial rinse.
The assistant will prepare for Dr and then Dr will come in and introduce herself and go over your health history and answer any concerns you may have. then Dr. Pomerance will do your compressive exam. at this time Dr and the assistant will take photos with the intra-oral camera and our fancy camera and periodontal chart and chart your existing. - If you are staying to see our hygienist for a cleaning, you will then be moved to the hygiene room for your cleaning.
- Dr is very throal and will gather all the needed data to preair a REPORT OF FINDINGS for you which will be discussed in the next week or so on zoom. This consultation is complementary. At this time will dr will go over her findings and tell you her recommendations and will answer any questions you may have. Dr will use photos, x-rays and animations to education and make everything very understandable.
Before your consult you will receive an email with the zoom link and your report f findings and any links to resources to review before your consult. When you have received the email, please reply to confirm you got it.
When joining the zoom meeting please copy and paste the zoom link and join the meeting with audio and video for the best experience. - After Dr is done explaining your findings and her recommendations, The practice manager will answer any logistic, scheduling, and insurance questions.
